I decided to hire a personal trainer because I wanted to learn how to exercise effectively and see results quickly. Fortunately for me, I met Violet at the gym and it changed my life! I loved training with Violet because she is sensible and thoughtful. She knows exactly what is best for her clients and she is very motivational.
I trained 1 on 1 with Violet for a little over a month. I trained twice a week and achieved results immediately. Violet is a great person to work with; she is very thoughtful and caring she kept me motivated by always being there for me, by answering any questions that I had not only in regards to the training but she also gave me very good tips on being smart with my food choices when I dine out.
I continue on my own now following training programs that Violet creates for me (online training), and as a result of working with Violet I lost 20 pounds and over 35 inches in under 12 weeks! Program: 45 Days Transformation

Growing up, I had a very petite physique but as I reached my mid 20s, I realized I was putting on a lot of unhealthy weight around my waist and thighs. Overall, I felt very weak and lethargic all the time. I really wanted to look and feel great. I started going to the gym and tried to do my best on my own for about a year. However, I was just not satisfied and didn’t see any results. So I decided to get a trainer who would put me on a program according to what I needed. I knew a trainer would not only give me the right guidance but would also help me develop a more structured workout routine that would yield results.
Violet and I formed a great bond right away and she helped me look at all aspect s of my lifestyle from my diet to health issues like back and knee pains. I loved how she was able to devise a workout plan that targeted all my needs so effectively. Violet is very supportive and constantly offered great motivation to keep me going.
It was amazing what a month of training with Violet did for me. I not only felt stronger but I was also more toned. I was able to take on more and more challenging workouts that I never thought I could have. Most importantly, Violet made training so much fun, it was no longer a chore. We worked in a fun environment, with music and fun conversations and it was always something I looked forward too.
The results from one month of training were remarkable. I lost two pounds and noticed a great reduction in cellulite. I gained muscle on my arms and legs and lost fat around my waistline. Overall, I lost 8.5 inches. Most importantly, my shoulder and back feel much more stronger and I do not feel the pain that I used to and my posture has improved.

I hired a personal trainer to assist me with a workout that would best suit my level of fitness and my fitness needs. I wanted a program that would benefit my body and weight loss goals, and I needed to build my strength and endurance. I also needed the motivation of a personal trainer.
My journey towards improved fitness and health has been empowering for me. I feel much better about myself both physically and emotionally. I was challenged by Violet, and amazed myself with what I was actually capable of doing. Exercise became something I wanted to do instead of a chore. My endurance improved greatly, I was capable of using greater weights than I thought, and I’m able to do pushups and squats which I never thought I could do! I am 56 now.
A highlight for me was the increase in weights I was able to use, and how well my body responded to the challenges Violet had for me.
Today I feel much more connected to my body and have a thorough understanding of what my diet needs to be and why, which I consider a bonus. I expected to learn about working out, but I also learned a great deal about nutrition which is the other component of good health.

Results: Lost 15 pounds
In an age where everyone and their brother can learn about fitness and health through not so reliable sources, I felt that discussing my illnesses and strengths with someone who dedicates their life to fitness and well-being for themselves first and foremost would be better than entrusting someone who you can tell is solely in it for the money. Violet was very thorough in her assessment/consultation with me. I love that she didn’t put me on the spot or measure and weigh me. She listened to the things I had to say and offered advice on ways to get myself to where I wanted to be. She gave me long term plan for success, in small steps, achievable steps. Making small adjustments to your life is the key, not overturning your complete “diet”.
Cutting gluten and a lot of grains from my diet was something I was adamant about as I read much about it myself, but Violet’s support, knowledge and suggestions for how to combine foods tastefully in a gluten-free way really helped. I never felt as though I was missing out on something because every meal was filling and delicious.
Violet really helped me to understand that there is actually so much more than just “diet” and “exercise” to keeping your body and mind healthy and happy. She explained to me how sleep and the hormones released during sleep can really affect your entire life without you thinking twice. It’s not something you realize until you make the effort to change your regular or irregular patterns to something consistent in your life.
My favourite thing about my consultation with Violet is what she did for me mentally. She really believes in me, even after she’s known that I’ve failed time and time again to be consistent and keep up with the regimen that encourages a healthier being. Violet has gone through a lot personally and I feel as though she uses her own experience to help others which is one of the greatest things we can do for each other as humans.
I achieved what I set out to achieve for the first time in my life with Violet’s guidance. You have no idea the self satisfaction one gets from that, unless you’ve been through it yourself. I take my vitamins, fish oils, antioxidants etc., I sleep better, I eat better, I find time for the exercise my body needs. I learned the importance of building muscle and not the chunky muscles body builder’s have. I’ve cut gluten, added sugars and yeast from my diet and I’ve never felt better. My skin glows, I’ve lost weight and I feel more confident. I even stand taller! I went to a wedding in the fall and had never gotten so many compliments. I even fit into my dress I didn’t previously fit into before!

I hired a personal trainer because I had no clue how to exercise properly on my own. Attempts I had made at establishing a regular exercise routine in the past never seemed to produce any results or become a proper habit. I wanted to lose weight, I wanted to counteract stress in my life from work, and I wanted to overcome my insomnia. I feel that my fitness level when I started was almost non-existent 🙂
Now, after working with Violet for several months, I feel like I am seeing results and finally making some progress. I feel a lot stronger! My sleep still comes and goes but the quality of it is better overall and I feel I can cope better the times my sleep is poor. I feel that I am managing the stress from work a lot better.
Progress has been slow but there is progress. Despite a lot of hard work from both me and my trainer, my body seems pretty resistant to change at times. I feel this is partly from bad habits established from years of shift-work, no exercise, poor sleep, not always the best food intake and my fibromyalgia. But I have been working to improve my diet & nutrition, trying to increase my sessions at the gym (and the intensity of those sessions), and I’m encouraged by the progress I’ve made recently since I started training with Violet.
I’m proud of the changes I have made and the progress I’ve achieved together with Violet. I feel like this is a life journey for me but I know that I am on the right track!
