How to: Make Perfect Burgers Every Time

Memorial Day is the perfect day to spend time with family and friends, remember the brave souls that have fallen, and fire up the grill.
I wanted to share my secret behind making the perfect burgers every time. Only a few weeks ago I was still spending way too much time trying to shape the burger patties with my hands and not being very successful at it haha. All my patties looked terrible and this is why I never posted a burger recipe 🙁

I love to make extra patties and place them between wax paper or cling wrap and freeze them for later use. During the week when my days are super busy all I have to do is pop one of these patties in the frying pan or the oven and my meal is ready in under 10 minutes.

Here are just a few of my favorite burger combinations, regular meat burgers as well as delicious veggie options:
Turkey Burger: ground turkey + egg + onions + fresh garlic + cilantro + spices: coriander seed, cumin, black pepper, cayenne pepper, turmeric + Himalayan Pink salt.
Grass Fed Beef Burger: grass fed beef + egg + onions + fresh garlic + Italian parsley + spices: black pepper, cayenne pepper, ground cumin seed, dried oregano, dried thyme, smoked paprika + Himalayan Pink salt.
Mushroom Burger: mushrooms + egg + black beans + oats + onions + carrot + celery + spices: ground cumin seed, ground coriander seed, ginger, black pepper + Himalayan Pink salt.
Gourmet Blue Cheese Stuffed Beef Burger: grass fed beef + egg + sweet onions + fresh garlic + fresh coriander + blue cheese + cream cheese + spices: black pepper, ground coriander, smoked paprika, ground cumin seed + Himalayan Pink salt.
